We know the formula of Force, given by Newton,

F = ma

where F = Force, m = mass of the object and a = acceleration of the object.

We have been given the mass and the acceleration of the object,

m = 500 kg\\a = 1 m/s^2

We have to find the force to make a 500 kg car accelerate at 1 m/s^2.

Lets apply the formula,

F = m*a

F = (500) kg * (1) m/s^2\\F = 500 kgm/s^2\\F = 500 N

Thank you :)
