Given:-

→ Force = 5N

→ Angle of displacement = 30°

→ Displacement = 6m

To find:-

→ Work done

Solution:-

We know that:-

W = F × s × cosθ

Where:-

W is work done.

F is magnitude of force.

s is displacement of the body.

→ Value of cosθ at 30° = √3/2

=> W = 5 × 6 × cos 30°

=> W = 30 × √3/2

=> W = 153 J

Thus, work done is 153 J .

Some Extra Information:-

• Work done by a force on a body is the product of force and displacement of a body.

i.e. W = F × s

• Work is a scalar quantity which means it

has no sense of direction.

• The S.I. unit of work is Joule. The C.G.S

unit of work is erg.

Given :-

Force acting on the body = 5 N

Angle formed = 30°

Displacement = 6 m

To Find :-

The work done.

Solution :-

We know that,

  • w = Work
  • s = Displacement
  • f = Force

By the formula,

\underline{\boxed{\sf Work \ done = Force \times Displacement \times cos \:  \theta  }}

Given that,

Force (f) = 5 N

Displacement (s) = 6 m

Substituting their values,

w = 5 × 6 × cos (30)

w = 30 × √3/2

w = 15√3 J

Therefore, the work done is 15√3 J.
