A force of 5N gives a mass "m" an acceleration of 10m/s² and a mass "m2",an acceleration of 20m/s².What acceleration would it give if both the masses were tied together ​

Explanation:

F=m*a

5 = m * 10

m = 5/10 = 0.5 kg

also,

5=(m2)*20

me = 5/20 = 0.25 kg

now total mass M= m +m2 = 0.5 +0.25 =0.75

M=0.75 and F = 5 N

F = M*a

5 = 0.75*a

a= 5/0.75 = 20/3 = 6.67 m/s²
