The force of 5n is acting along y-axis it's component along x- axis is zero....

Why.....

The real component of the force will be zero, but the imaginary part will have the same magnitude as the orthogonal force applied.

If the force is inward in a rotating frame of reference, then an acceleration will be applied, if outwards, then the opposite.

hope it will help you......

Answer:

Concept:

Because While the imaginary portion of the force will have the same magnitude as the applied orthogonal force, the real component of the force will be zero. An acceleration will be applied if the force is directed inward in a rotating frame of reference, and the reverse if it is directed outward.

Explanation:

  • A force vector like the one shown above is called a 2D force vector. You can think of them as power.
  • Some of them are pushing right or left and others are pushing up or down. This part of the force is called the force component.
  • The component that pushes right or left is called the x component, and the component that pushes up or down is called the y component.
  • The black vector is a 2D force vector labeled F.
  • The red vector is the x component of the force vector labeled Fx. It is pronounced "F sub x".
  • Since "x" is actually a subscript, this designation is usually: F sub x
  • However, in Zona Land Education, the position of a subscript is often implied without losing its meaning as here.
  • The green vector is the y component of the force vector denoted Fy, pronounced 'F sub y'.
