Solution :-

If we need to find the which block has greater weight . So , we need to find the masses of blocks \textbf{\textsf{m${_1}$}}&\textbf{\textsf{m${_2}$}}

Using ,

F = m × a

Where ,

  • F = 5N
  • Acceleration = 8m/s² or 24m/s²
  • Mass = m1 & m2

\underline{\textbf{\textsf{M$_1$}}}:-

\sf m_1 = \sf\dfrac{5}{8}

\sf m_1 = 0.625 kg

\underline{\textbf{\textsf{M$_2$}}}:-

\sf m_2 = \sf\dfrac{5}{24}

\sf m_2 = 0.203 kg

\boxed{\textbf{\textsf{ m$_1$>m$_2$}}}

Hence , \underline{\bf m_1 > m_2} . So , \sf m_2 has lighter weight
