a force of 5N produces an acceleration of 8m/s on a mass m1 and an acceleration of 24m/s on a mass m2 what acceleration (in m/s ) would the same force provide if both the masses are tied together​

f=ma

Case:-1

5=m1*8

m1=5/8

Case:-2

5=m2*24

m2=5/24

Case:-3

F=(m1+m2)*a

a=F/(m1+m2)

= 5/(5/8+5/24)

=6m/s^2
