Pressure:-

→ Pressure is defined as the force exerted on a surface per unit surface area. Pressure is a scalar.

→ P = F / A

→ Its unit is Pascal = Newton / meter².

Other units of pressure:-

1) F = P × A

= 50, 000 Pascals × 0.5m

= 25, 000 Pascals or N/m²

2) Surface Area A = Force / Pressure

= 100 N / 500 pa

 = 1/5 m²

3) Area = 30 cm² = 30 / (100*100)  meter²

→ Pressure = F / A

= 300 N / (3/1000)

= 100 * 1000 pa  = 1 × 10⁵ pa

4 )  Area =  1 cm² = (1/100)² meter²

 → Force needed = P A

= 20, 000 pa × (1/100²) m²

= 2 Newtons
