Answer:

Since we know that,

Force = mass*acceleration

Here A.T.Q.

68 = mass*1.7

68/1.7 = mass

mass = 40kg (answer)

\Large{\underline{\underline{\red{\mathfrak{Answer :}}}}}

Mass (m) = 40 kg

\large{\underline{\underline{\red{\mathfrak{Step-By-Step-Explanation :}}}}}

\tt Given \begin{cases} \sf{Force \: (F) \: = \: 68 \: N }  \\  \sf{Acceleration \: (a) \: = \: 1.7 \: ms^{-2}} \end{cases}

To Find :

Mass of Body

___________________________

Solution :

We have formula :

\LARGE \leadsto {\underline{\boxed{\sf{F \: = \: ma}}}}

Where,

F is force

m is mass

a is acceleration

Put Values

⇒68 = m(1.7)

⇒68 = 1.7m

⇒m = 68/1.7

⇒m = 40

\LARGE \implies {\boxed{\boxed{\sf{Mass \: = \: 40 \: kg}}}}

Additional Information :

  • Acceleration is defined as Rate of change of velocity.

  • Acceleration = final velocity - initial velocity/Time

  • Acceleration unit is m/s².

  • It is a vector quantity.
