A force of 6N gives a mass m1 an acceleration of 18 m/s2

and a mass m2 an acceleration of 24 m/s2

. What acceleration would it give if both the masses were tied together????​

Mass =force / Acceleration

m1  = 6 /18                  m2 = 6/24

m 1 = 1/3                     m2= 1/4

m1+m2= 1/3+1/4

M1+m2= 7/12

a = F / ( comined mass)

a = 6 /( 7/12)

a= 72/7

a= 10.3 m sec^-2
