Ans. F=7N

s = 8 m

W = F × s

= 7 N × 8 m

W = 56J

∴ Work done is 56 J.

hope it helps

Correct Question

A force of 7 N acts on an object. The displacement is say 8 m in the direction of the force. Let us assume that the force acts on the object through the displacement. What is the work done in this case ?

F = 7 N

Displacement = 8m

Work done = ?

Work done = Force × Displacement

Work done = 7 N × 8 m

Work done = 56 Nm

Work done = 56 Joule
