- Displacement (d) = 5m.
To Find:-
- Work is done moving the sofa (W).
Solution:-
The work done by a force acting on the object is equal to the product of force and displacement of the object in the direction of force.
⟹ Work done = Force × Displacement
⟹ W = Fd
Put the value which is given above we get,
⟹ W = 75×5
⟹ W = 375 Joule.
∴ The work is done moving the sofa is 375 J.
