Explanation:

1N = 10'5 dyne

7500dyne =0.075N

P = F/A

A = F/P

A = 0.075/150

A = 0.0005

area would be 5 cm²

we know, pressure is the force applied per unit area in a surface.

i.e., Pressure = force applied/area

given, Force = 7500 Dyne

we know, Dyne is unit of force in CGS system. and one Dyne equals 10^-5 Newton (which is si unit of force.)

so, force = 7500 × 10^-5 N

= 7500/100000 = 0.075 N

now 150 Pascal = 0.075/area

⇒area = 0.075/150 = 75 × 10^-3/150

= 0.5 × 10^-3 m²

= 5 × 10^-4 m²

= 5 cm² [ 1 m² = 10⁴ cm² ]

hence area would be 5 cm²
