Given :

  • Force = 75 N
  • Pressure = 3,00,000 Pa

To find :

  • Area on which the force acts

Knowledge required :-

  • Formula of Pressure :-

⠀⠀⠀⠀Pressure = Force/Area

Solution :

As we know,

  • Pressure = Force/Area

So,

  • Area = Force/Pressure

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Area = 75/300000

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Area = 1/4000

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Area = 0.00025

Area on which the force acts = 0.00025 m²

Know MorE :-

  • Force is any push or pull which tends to change the state of rest or motion of an object.
  • Force = Pressure × area
  • Its S.I. unit is newton.
  • Pressure is the the amount of force exerted per unit area.
  • Pressure = Force/Area
  • Its S.I. unit is pascal.
