We have,

Force, F = 8.5N
Area, A = 0.5cm² = 0.5/1000 m = 0.0005 m

We know,

Pressure = F/A

Or P = 8.5/0.0005 = 17000 N/m

Rosedowson: Its 170000N/m^2..

mrOogway: 1cm = 1000m = 10³m
Rosedowson: Bro..1m=100cm. .and its area so 1m^2=10000cm..
Rosedowson: Its general calculation..
mrOogway: Oh sorry! I brain is not working!
mrOogway: Please report my answer
Rosedowson: Its ok ..never mind..its partially right ..no need of..
