A force of 8 N acts on a mass of 2 kg moving with a uniform velocity of 5 m/s for 6s.
Calculate
(i) its acceleration
(ii)its final velocity
(iii) the change in momentum of the body​

Explanation:

(I) F=ma

   8 =2* a

   a=8/2

   a=4m/s^2

(ii)v=u+at

  v=5+4*6

  v=29m/s

(iii)change in momentum= m(v-u)

                                        = 2(29-5)

                                        = 2*24

                                         =48
