The value of Y component  of  force of F is Y = \sqrt{F^{2} -X^{2}}.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

A force of F is inclined at an angle to the horizontal.

X is it’s horizontal component.

Y  is it’s  Vertical component.

To Find:

The value of Y component  of A force of F.

Solution:

As given,A force of F is inclined at an angle to the horizontal.

Force magnitude =F

Angle to the horizontal =\theta

As given,X is it’s horizontal component.

Horizontal component of Force F =X

Vertical Component of force =Y

Applying the Pythagoras theorem.

F^{2} =X^{2} +Y^{2}

Y^{2} =F^{2} -X^{2}

Y = \sqrt{F^{2} -X^{2}}

Thus,the value of Y component  of  force of F is Y = \sqrt{F^{2} -X^{2}}.
