A force vector applied on a mass is represented as F=6i+8j+10k and the mass accelerates with 1m/s ^2. What will be the mass of the body?

Given:- F=6i+8j+10k N ; a=1m/s²

Solution:-

1. Calculate resultant force

F=√(6)²+(8)²+(10)² = √36+64+100

F=√200 =10√2 N

2. Put the value in F=ma or m=F/a

10√2 N=m× 1m/s²

m=10√2 N ÷ 1m/s²

Therefore, m= 10√2 kg

Hence mass of body is 10√2 kg
