Subject: Tobacco free world as children's day gift
Dear Sir:
I am writing to Your Excellency to express my wish that represents the wishes of the children and health-loving people. I was wondering what gift I should ask from you for Children’s Day. Then I decided my gift. Could you please give us the children the gift of tobacco free nation.
Tobacco is very harmful in all forms. Smoking causes lung cancer, cancer of the larynx, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema. Smoking is not dangerous for the smokers, but also for the people around the smokers. The Government must ban smoking at public places to discouraging it among people. It is exceedingly dangerous for children.
I appeal to Your Excellency that the Government must take some proactive actions to make India tobacco free. The common masses of the country have high expectations on you.
Thanking you.
Yours truly,
Upen Sharma
