Hey there !

Solution :

Given Data :

Speed₁ = 105 km / hr

Time₁ = 15 minutes = 0.25 hours

Speed₂ = 212 km / hr

Time₂ = 20 minutes = 0.3 hours

So we know that,

Distance = Speed * Time

Total Distance Traveled = ( S₁ * T₁ ) + ( S₂ * T₂ )

Total Distance = ( 105 * 0.25 ) + ( 212 * 0.3 )

Total Distance = ( 26.25 km ) + ( 63.6 km )

Total Distance = ( 26.25 + 63.6 ) km

Total Distance = 89.85 km

Hence the total distance covered by the car is 89.85 km.

Hope my answer helped !
