Step-by-step explanation:

The radius of fountain,r = 3.5m

The width of payment,s = 7m

→area of fountain = π r^2

= π x 3.5^2

= 38.6 sq m.

→area of pavement with fountain = s^2

= 7^2

= 49 sq m

→Actual area of pavement = 49-38.6

=10.4 sq m.

→ Total cost of pavement = 50 x 10.4

= Rs .520...
