A fountain is made up of two semicircles and a quarter circle. Find the perimeter of the fountain. Round to the nearest hundredth.

perimeter of the fountain:-

= 2 x perimeter of two semicircles + perimeter of quarter circle

= 2 x π x r + πr/2 + r

putting the value of π = 22/7 and solving this, we get

perimeter= 62r/7
