Suppose fraction as x ÷ y

x -1 ÷ y-1 = 1 ÷ 3

3x - 3 = y - 1

3x - y = 2 (Equation 1)

Now :-

x + 1 ÷ y + 1 = 1 ÷ 2

2x + 2 = y + 1

2x - y = -1 (Equation 2)

By equation 1 and 2

x = 3

y = 7

So in fraction = 3 ÷ 7
