Here is your answer

suppose numerator is x and denominator is y.
fraction=x/y
A/Q
x-1/y-1=1/3
3(x-1) = y-1
3x-2=y-1
3x-y=-1+2
3x-y = 1____(1)
&
x+1/y+1 = 1/2
2(x+1)=y+1
2x+2=y+1
2x-y=1-2
2x-y=-1___(2)

subtract (1) and (2)

3x-y=1
2x-y=-1
______
x = 2

putting x=2 in (2)

3x-y=1
3×2-y=1
-y=-5
y=5

Fraction = x/y = 2/5

Hope it helps you ^_^
