Solution:- Here, a fraction clutch is in the form of frustum of a cone of diameter 32cm and 20cm and length 8cm.

Given,

D= 32 cm

So, R=D/2

=> R=32/2

=> R=16 cm

d = 20 cm

So, r= d/2

=> r= 20/2

=>r =10 cm

Volume of frustum of cone= 1/3πh(R^2 + r^2 + Rr)

=> 1/3 × 22/7 × 8[(10)^2+(16)^2+10×16]

=> 22/3 × 8/7(100+256+160)

=> 22/3 × 8/7(516)

=> 22/3 × 8/7 × 516

=> 22/3 × 589.71

=> 4,324.571 cm^3

Therefore, 4,324.571 cm^3 is its bearing surface and volume.
