Answer :  \bold{21}

Explanation -

Let the numerator = x

Let the denominator = y

Denominator -

Given: It's denominator and numerator add upto 91

x + y = 91

y = 91 - x

So, denominator = y = 91 - x

Form Fraction -

 \dfrac{x}{91 - x}  =  \dfrac{5}{8}

8(x) = 5(91 - x)

8x = 455 - 5x

8x + 5x = 455

13x = 455

x = 455/13

x = 35.

Finding Numerator and Denominator -

Numerator - x = 35.

Denominator 91 - x = 91 - 35 = 56.

Fraction is - 35/56.

Difference- 56 - 35 = 21.
