Let the fraction be \huge\frac{x}{y}

where x is numerator and y is denominator

Given, y=3x

Also, according to the question

\huge\frac{x+2}{y-2}={1}

=>x+2=y-2

=>x+2=3x-2 [Since,y=3x]

=>4=2x

=>x=2

Now, it is given that

y=3x=3(2)=6

Hence, the fraction is \huge\frac{2}{6}
