let the denominator be x
Then, the numerator =x-2
now,
x-2+3/x+5=3/5
=>x+1/x+5=3/5
=>3(x+5)=5(x+1)
=>3x+15=5x+5
=>5x-3x=15-5
=>2x=10
=>x=10/2
So, x=5
numerator =5-2=3
denominator =5
Hence,the fraction =3/5

Solution -

Let the dinominator be x

So, the numerator be x - 2

 According to Question,

x - 2 + 3/x + 5 = 3/5

⇒ x + 1/x + 5 = 3/5

⇒ 5(x + 1) = 3(x + 5)

⇒ 5x + 5 = 3x + 15

⇒ 5x - 3x = 15 - 5

⇒ 2x = 10

⇒ x = 10/2 = 5

∵ Numerator = x - 2  = 5 - 2 = 3

∵ Dinominator = x = 5

∴ The fraction is 3/5
