Answer:

y

Hey Buddy here's ur answer

First u have to write

Let the numerator be x and denominator be y

According to the problem,

3x/y-3=18/11 ---1

x+8/2y=2/5 ---2

By substitution method

3x*11=18(y-3)

33x=18y-54

x=18y-54/33---3

Put in 2

(18y-54/33+8)/2y=2/5

18y-54+264/33*2y=2/5

18y+212/66y=2/5

90y+1060=132y

1060=42y

y=1060/42

y=25.23(approximately)

put in 3

x=18*25.23-54/33

x=12.12 (approximately)

so,X=12.12

Y=25.23
