For one to protect the environment, it can not be done alone. First of all it is important to sensitize the community and come with a strategy which you will all use as a community to protect your community. You might choose to do it alone but it will not be as effective as it would have been if you were doing it as a community. You can choose to be cleaning your environment every Saturday, you can choose to be burning bushes and wastes every weekend, you can choose to clear stagnant wastes every Wednesdays. All these are strategies that if implemented very well can help you protect your environment.
