a froce F is acting between two point charges Q1and Q2 when placed in vacuum.If third charge Q3 is placed close to Q1 what happens to the force between Q1 and Q2.

Answer ⇒  Mathematically, there will be no change in Force between Q₁ and Q₂ whether the 'n' number of charges is brought between or near them.

This was the Significance of the Principle of superposition of forces.

But, If you will use a little brain, then your answer will change.

When one charge will be brought near the other, then by the process of Induction, charge density will increase on the other charges, and hence it affects the force between the two.

But we should not forget that we are talking about the Point charges, and hence charge density can't be increase on it, since it is the point charge which can't take more charge that have.
