Given,

A fruit merchant buys 15 mangoes at rs 1.50 each.

Two mangoes got rotten.

Remaining he sold rs. 2.25 each.

To find,

The percentage of profit.

Solution,

The cost of one mango = rs. 1.5

The cost of 15 mangoes = 1.5×15 = rs. 22.5

Number of mangoes for selling = 15-2 = 13

The selling price of one mango = rs. 2.25

The selling price of 13 mangoes = rs. 2.25×13 = rs. 29.25

So,the amount of profit = 29.25-22.5 = rs. 6.75

Profit percentage = 100 × 6.75/22.5 = 30%

Hence,he got a profit of 30% in that transaction.
