This means you have to find out the weight of a particular fruit with respect to the total weight of the fruits, multiplied by 100.

So, the total weight of the fruits is 12 + 8 + 15 + 5 = 40 kg

Now, the percentage of apple  is (12/40) * 100 = 30%

The percentage of grapes is (8/40) * 100 = 20%

The percentage of papaya is (15/40) * 100 = 37.5%

The percentage of oranges is (5/40) * 100 = 12.5%.

So, the information can be represented in percentage form as below.

A fruit seller bought 30% apples by weight, 20% grapes by weight, 37.5% papaya by weight and 12.5% oranges by weight.
