A fruit seller bought 4 dozen apples at Rs. 120 per dozen and 2 dozen apples at Rs. 160 per dozen. He sold all of them to earn 20%. At what price per dozen did he sell the apples?

Answer:

price of 4 dozen apples= 120×4=480rs.

price of 2 dozen apples = 160×2= 320rs.

total price = 480+320=800

afer sold he earned 20% profit

then his selling price are_

100%=800

1%=8

120%=8×120=960rs.

price per dozen =960/6=160 rs.

he will sell 160 rs. per dozen then he will be 20% profit
