Let total number of watermelons be x

Let total number of watermelons be xfruit seller brought some watermelons at GH¢ 5.00

total price of watermelons is 5x.

12 watermelons are rotten then fresh watermelons be (x - 12)

after that she sold watermelons at GH¢7.00

total price of fresh watermelons is 7(x - 12) = 7x - 84.

She makes profit of GH¢ 150.

total price of fresh watermelons without profit = 7x - 84 - 150 = 7x - 234

price of fresh watermelons without profit = buying price of total watermelons

∴ 7x - 234 = 5x

∴ 7x - 5x = 234

∴ 2x = 234

 \huge ∴ x = \frac { \cancel{234}}{ \cancel2} = 117

∴ x = 117

➣ She brought 117 watermelons.
