let no. of watermelons = x
buying cost 8 × x = 8x
total sold (x-5) as 5 broken
total sell price = 15× (x-5)
profit = 15 (x-5) - 8x = 275
15x - 75 - 8x = 275
15x- 8x = 275+ 75
7x = 350 x = 50
total watermelons buy = 50
buying cost 8 × x = 8x
total sold (x-5) as 5 broken
total sell price = 15× (x-5)
profit = 15 (x-5) - 8x = 275
15x - 75 - 8x = 275
15x- 8x = 275+ 75
7x = 350 x = 50
total watermelons buy = 50
