A fruit seller buys 7 3⁄4 kg of fruits consisting of apples and mangoes out of which 6 2⁄3 kg was mangoes. What is the amount of apples he bought in kg?​

Total fruits's weight- mangoes' weight=apples' weight

=7 3/4 - 6 2/3 = 7-6 + 3/4 -2/3

=1+( 3×3-4×2)/3×4 { by cross multiplying and taking product of bases }

=1+1/12

= 1 1/12 kg apples ( or 13/12 kg)
