  • A fruit seller buys 712 fruits
  • 3/4 are apples
  • 1/3 were found to be rotten
  • all the good apples at Rs. 514 each.

 \frac{3}{4} \times 712 = 384 \\ \frac{1}{3} \times 384 = 128 \\ \: \: 128 \times 514 = 20112

  • in 712 fruits 384 are apples
  • in 384 apples 128 are rotten
  • money he receive on selling all good apples are Rs 20112
