Step-by-step explanation:

No of apples = ( 3/4)×712 = 534

If 1/3 are rotten then the no of good ones are 2/3

So, 2/3×534 = 356

Earnings = 5 1/4 ( 21/4)

21/4×356 which is rs 1869

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

A fruit seller buys 712 fruits which 3/4 are apple .

= 3/4×712 = 534 apple

So, seller buys 534 apple.

Of all apple that he brought 1/3 were found to be rotten.

= 1/3 × 534 = 178

So, 178 apple are rotten.

Thus , total apple left = 534 - 178 = 356 are good apple.

if he sold each apple at Rs.541

So, he received on selling = 541× 356

= Rs.192,596.
