GIVEN :-

A fruit seller buys 2 lemons for Rs. 01

Cost price of 1 lemon = Rs. 1/2

He sells 5 lemons for Rs. 03

Selling Price of 1 lemon = Rs. 3/5

TO FIND :- Profit percentage

SOLUTION :-

PROFIT = Selling price - Cost Price

 = \frac{3}{5} - \frac{1}{2} = \frac{6 - 5}{10} = \frac{1}{10}

So, profit = Rs. 1/10

profit\% = \frac{profit}{cost \: price} \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{ \frac{1}{10} }{ \frac{1}{2} } \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{1}{10} \times 2 \times 100 \\ \\ = 20\%

Therefore, profit percent is 20% (ANS)
