A fruit seller sold 3 dozen apples and 64 mangoes in a day. Both the fruits were sold at Rs.58 each. Find the total amount he got from the sale of apples and mangoes on that day.

Cost of an apple= Cost of a mango =Rs. 58 each

Apples = 36, cost =36×58Rs.

Mangoes = 64 cost = 64×58Rs.

Total cost =(36×58)+(64×58)

=(36+64)×58

=100×58

=Rs. 5800
