A fruit seller spends 11,000 to buy fruits at 100 per kg. If the price increases by 10%, find
the amount of fruit the fruit seller can purchase in the same amount of money?

Money spent=₹11000

cost of 1 kg fruits=₹100

Weight of fruits costing₹11000=11000/100=110kg.

Price increased = 10%

So price of of 1kg fruits

=100+100×10%

=100+100×10/100

=100+10

=110

New price of 1kg. fruits=110

Cost of 110kg. fruits =₹12100

Weight of fruits bought in ₹11000

=11000/110

=100

The fruit seller can purchase 100kg. fruits in

11, 000 when the price increased by 10%
