A fruit shop purchased 160 kg of apples of different types last week.
Half of the apples were sold for $1.5 per kg, at a gain of 25%, and the rest of the
apples at a loss of 20%. Given that after selling all 160 kg of apples the food shop
neither gained nor lost on the deal, find the total selling price of the second half
of the apples.

Answer:
1.2 per kg
Step-by-step explanation:
Let CP of total be x
SP of first half of apples is 120
Therefore, CP of first half is 96
CP of 2nd half of apples is x-96
Hence, SP = (x-96)- (x-96)/5
Since all apples sold without any gain or loss
(X-96)-(x-96)/5 + 120 = x
X= 216
SP of 2nd half = 216-120= 96
And 96/80= 1.2 per kg
