A fruit vendor buys 300 apples at rupees 50 per dozen and sell 200 of them at rupees 60 per dozen .at what rate per apple should vendor sell the remaining apples so as to make overall profit of 12%?? please help me in this ​

Answer:

Dozens Of Apple Bought = 300/12 = 25

Total Cost = 50 X 25 = 1250

SP Of 200 = 50/10 = Rs 5 Per Apple

SP Of 200 = 5 X 200 = 1000

To Gain 12% On Whole SP Required = 1250+12/100 X 1250 = Rs 1400

Remaining Amount = 1400-1000 = 400

Remaining Apples = 100

SP = 400/100 = Rs 4 Per Apple Or Rs 48 Per Dozen
