Let total no. Of mangoes = x

Spoiled mangoes were= 10 %

Then, left mangoes = x - 10% of x

Means, 9/10 x

Sold mangoes were = 75%

Then, left mangoes = (100-75)%

ATQ:

25% of x = 90

25/100* 9/10 x = 90

9/40 x = 90

X = (90 * 40)/9

X = 400

Therefore, total mangoes = 400

Let the total number of mangoes be x.
A/Q
if he threw away 10% of mangoes then he had remain x - 10% of x mangoes.
so, he had remain = x - 10/100 × x.
= x - x/10
=9x/10.
Now, he had sold 75% of remaining mangoes, then had remain 9x/10 - 75% of 9x/10
so, he had remain = 9x/10 - (75/100 × 9x/10).
= 9x/10 - 27x/40
= (36x - 27x)/40.
= 9x/40.
Now again, its given that he had remained 90 mangoes finaly.
so, 9x/40 = 90.
= 9x = 90 × 40
= x = (90 × 40)/9
= x = 10 × 40.
= x = 400.
Hence the total number of mangoes = x = 400.
