A fruit vendor had some mangoes with him. He threw away 10 % mangoes which were spoiled and sold 75 % of the remaining. Still 90 mangoes remained with him. Find the total numberof managoes he had with him

spoiled mangoes = 10% of x
= 10x / 100
mangoes sold = 75% of x
= 75x / 100
mangoes left. = 15% of x
90 = 15% of x
x = 9000/15
x = 600
