Answer:

Option (C) 48 packets of 2- bananas sold

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Sales revenue = 1000

Price of dozen banana = 5

Solution : No of Dozen banana = Total sales revenue/Price of dozen banana

                                                         = 1000/5

                                                         = 200 dozens

                                                         = 200 X 12 nos

                                                         = 2400 nos

Qty sold ratio in packets is 2 banana : 6 banana : 12 banana = 1:2:3

Qty sold ratio in numbers is 2X1 : 6X2 : 12 X3

                                          = 2 : 12 : 36

∴ 2- banana sold in numbers = 2- banana ratio/sum of ratio X Total bananas

                                                = 2/50 X2400

                                                 = 96 nos

                                                 = 96/2

                                                  = 48 packets
