A fruitseller bought 200 oranges for 120 a
score. He found that 25 oranges were rotten.
He sold the remaining oranges for 5 each.
Find his profit or loss percentage.​

Answer:

CP of 200 oranges = ₹120

CP of 1 orange = ₹200 ÷ 120

= 5/3

According to Question,

25 oranges were rotten

So,

No. of oranges left = 200 - 25

= 175

Now,

He sold the remaining oranges each costing = ₹5

So,

175 oranges are sold in / Total SP = ₹175 × 5

= ₹875

As SP > CP ,

So,

Profit = SP - CP

= ₹875
