A fruitseller bought apples at the rate of Rs 120 for 4 apples . If he sells them at Rs 480 a dozen , what is his profit per cent?​

Answer:

price of 4 dozen apples= 120×4 = 480rs.

price of 2 dozen apples = 160×2 = 320rs.

Total price = 480+ 320 = 800

After sold he earned 20% profit

Then his selling price are

100% = 800

1% = 8

120% = 8×120 = 960rs

He will sell 160 rs. per dozen then he will be 20 % profit.
