let no of oranges be x
...
4 oranges=1 rupee
1 orange=1/4 rupee
x oranges=x/4 rupee
similarly..
another x oranges=x/5 rupee
total cp of 2x oranges=x/4+x/5=9x/20
now...
for sp:
9 oranges=2 rupees
1 orange=2/9 rupees
2x oranges=2/9*2x=4x/9 rupees
.....
loss=9x/20-4x/9=x/180.....
.....
loss%=x/180*20/9x*100%=1.12% loss
...

Answer:
Step-by-step explanation:
4orange-----------1Rs
=>1 orange------1/4Rs-------(1)
5oranges---------1Rs
=>1 orange------1/5Rs-------(2)
CP=1/4+1/5=9/20
Now Let we have only 2 oranges
9 orange---------2Rs
1 orange-----------2/9Rs
Now we know that we have two orange so,
2/9*2=4/9=SP
Now,CP-SP=9/20-4/9=>1/180
Loss%=(1/180)/(9/20)* =>(20/180*9)*
=1.23%
