A fruitseller buys some oranges at the rate of 4 for a rupee and an equal number at 5 for a rupee.
He sells the whole lot at 9 for two rupees. Find his gain or loss per cent.

5oranges---------1Rs

=>1 orange------1/5Rs-------(2)

CP=1/4+1/5=9/20

Now Let we have only 2 oranges

9 orange---------2Rs

1 orange-----------2/9Rs

Now we know that we have two orange so,

2/9*2=4/9=SP

Now,CP-SP=9/20-4/9=>1/180

Loss%=(1/180)/(9/20)* =>(20/180*9)*

=1.23%
